Who is the activist that you relate to the most from this month’s history?

Bayard Rustin, Harvey Milk

What moment in history has been the most relevant to your civil rights now?

Harvey Milk sponsored a bill banning discrimination in public accommodations, housing, and employment-based on sexual orientation.

How do you contribute to this month’s history at Sonoma State University?

I am one of the co-founders of SSU's QFaSA (Queer Faculty and Staff Association).

What is your favorite dish?

One of my favorite dishes is Caprese Salad. It represents the idea multiple colors and textures coming together.

What is the best side dish for this meal?

Chicken gnocchi in pesto cream sauce.

How is this favorite meal related to this month’s history?

The meal is visually different, and yet it all works together.
