While no experience is required, we are looking individuals who are hard working, friendly and will be a positive addition to our team. To qualify, applicants must be a SSU student.
Experience in food services and cash handling is preferred. Valid Foodsafe certificate is a bonus.
The Culinary department has a friendly, cooperative, but also meticulous culture. We strive to have fun and enjoy ourselves as much as we can while also staying busy, working hard, and paying attention to the smaller details of our work. I have personally found the culinary department to be welcoming and encouraging! It offers opportunities for students that would like to take on more responsibilities or learn how to be in a leadership role, and allows you to take on these responsibilities without interfering with your schedule as a student.
