Students were over the MOON for this Dreamworks Themed Dinner! On April 10, 2025, the Kitchens transported students from the SSU campus to the wonderful world of Dreamworks through their immaculate theming. Being immersed in everything from Shrek’s Swamp to Mr. Ping’s Noodle Shop, students had a variety of flavors and mythical realms to choose from. I mean, Slice’s station served enough incredible pizzas to feed an entire village and Toothless! The food was mouthwatering and perfectly themed. From breakfast with the Madagascar Crew serving Zoonuts, Stefano’s Cannon Smoke, and more, all the way to Shrek’s Philly-tale Sandwich Bar, each station had its own unique franchise and creations. Student’s favorites from the event include Trolls Fluffle Berry Cake (a blackberry pie topped with marshmallow fluff whip cream – YUM!) and Grug’s Fire Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Banana BBQ Sauce (don’t knock it till you try it, this was a HIT!). It’s safe to say that the Dreamworks Themed dinner was a fan favorite because where else could you say that you tried Puss and Boots Leche Frita? Absolutely incredible!
