Cruising Through Finals

Just in time to celebrate the start of summer, the Cruising Through The Tropics Dinner gave students the chance to get some rest, relaxation, and vacation in early. On May 8, the Cruising Through The Tropics Dinner brought a fun luau vibe to SSU Campus! Chef’s supplied the tropical greenery with a variety of salads such as Island Mac Salad and Green Papaya Salad. Slice offered the sland spice with Spicy Jungle Pepperoni Pizza and Spicy Phi Phi Beach Flatbread. Sizzle added the free spirit vacation treatment with fully customizable bowls. The most important stop on the itinerary was the buffet table with all the main events, showstoppers such as the Pineapple-Glazed Sweet Potatoes, Curry, Macadamia-Crusted Mahi Mahi, and the 5 Spiced Rubbed Pork Roast! The Roast really did the most by bringing the laid-back luau vibes up a notch, or perhaps even a star. All of it was perfectly wrapped up with a bottomless glass of alcohol-free Mai Tai, Piña Colada, or Blue Hawaiian drinks! Also pairing well with the final treat from the Tropics, ETC. made sure everyone got their fill of luxury food, ending the night with fresh fruit, Piña Colada Cake, Ube Halaya, and Coconut Cream Pie!
